With around 850 employees, a total area of 100.000 mq and a worldwide presence, Baxi SpA is one of the largest factory of heating and cooling solutions in the world, offering complete and tailor-made solutions for every customer.
The over 12 million boilers produced is a sure confirmation of the quality and reliability of the entire offer. Our range includes technologies for the residential and commercial comfort, such as boilers, heat pumps, hybrid systems, solar systems, water heaters, air conditioning, and so on.
Climate changes are a huge threat to Europe and the entire world; we believe the future depends on the development of technologically advanced products that combine high efficiency with environmental protection. Our aim is to reduce the emissions of CO2-e, also with a large-scale deployment of pure hydrogen powered boilers with zero emissions.

1925
Westen
The Westen family founded Smalteria Metallurgica Veneta, producing at the beginning enameled tableware and bath tubes, later also steel radiators and gas/wooden kitchens.
1977
Zanussi Company
Zanussi took over the company. Manufacturing of the first wall mounted boilers Triplex.
1984
Ocean Company
Zanussi Climatizzazione was acquired by Officine Costruzioni Elettriche Angelo Nocivelli, better known with the acronym OCEAN.
1999
Baxi Group Ltd
Ocean Idroclima division was sold to the British multinational Baxi Group Ltd. The sales volume of the boilers significantly increased.
1999
First built-in boiler
Under the brand Baxi, the first built-in boiler was presented in the market.
2006
Baxi innovation
Baxi was the first to introduce detachable controllers for the maximum comfort.
2009
BDR Thermea
Baxi Group and De Dietrich Remeha merged to create one of the most important group in the sector, BDR Thermea, present in more than 70 markets worldwide.
2009
GAC
The first brand to offer Gas Adaptive Control on all the condensing range, ensuring the best air/gas ratio and improving the efficiency.
2010
Hybrid System
Baxi was pioneer in hybrid systems, presenting Luna Platinum CSI at Mostra Convegno Expocomfort.
2017
Baxi Mago
Introduction of BaxiMago, the smart chronothermostat. The home comfort can be controlled also via mobile.
2019
H2 Boiler
First manufacturer certifying a pure H2 boiler.
2024
Baxi today

Baxi spa and BDR Thermea Group
Within the BDR Thermea holding, Baxi SpA is a center of competence for wall-mounted gas boilers. The total production volume is about 500,000 units of boilers each year. The investments in R&D and the commitment to sustainability have led Baxi SpA to be pioneer also in hybrid systems and H2 boilers, to reduce the carbon footprint.
